In a 10 km walk, cyanotype was used as an alternative and ecological form of registration. We used only sunlight for exposure and local water courses for development. Cyanotypes become the visual echoes of the route, giving clues about the local flora, sun exposure and UV light in a specific place, day and time. We want to encourage alternative forms of registration that make us question the usual ways of looking at space and compel us to slow-down – an abrupt stop at the pace of the walk and a long wait for the solar rhythm.
